The first day of spring snow didn’t slow down the Apprentices of Photojournaling. The After School Matters class tool a field trip to Garfield Park Conservatory to spend some time getting to know the gardens and working to complete a photography scavenger hunt. After lunch we took the El downtown to Gallery 37 to see what other creative Apprentices around the city of Chicago have been making in past programs. After we crossed the street to the Cultural Center to enjoy the architecture, Tiffany dome, black and white photography and the multiple art showings that were taking place that day.
